David Lynn Wilcoxson

David Lynn Wilcoxson 78 passed away August 18, 2026. He was born in Nicholas County on December 3, 1947, to the late Leonard and Eliza Beth Hunt Wilcoxson.
He was a former employee of the Nicholas County Hospital, he liked to make people laugh, he loved riding the backroads and enjoyed a cold Budweiser.
He is survived by a son Adam Wilcoxson, a daughter Rhonda Hunt, three grandchildren Makena Martinez, Courtney Sibert and Payton Sibert, a sister Faye Kimes, a brother Wayne Wilcoxson, three nieces Tonya Wilcoxson, Beverly Boots Scott and Becky Sams, two nephews Jerry Tom Kimes and Steve Kimes, a Cousin Diane Barbee and best friends Dee Buckler and Patty McClure.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Wilcoxson, three brothers Jimmy Wilcoxson, Larry Jo Wilcoxson and Ronnie Wilcoxson, a niece Vickie Wilcoxson, a great niece Kassie Boots and three uncles Henry Hunt, Joe Hunt and Leonard Hunt.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday August 25, 2026, at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Reverand Allen Waugh officiating with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation will be  Tuesday 10 am- 12 pm. Pallbearers are Adam Wilcoxson, Brandon Hollar, Jerry Tom Kimes, Chris House, Charlie Buckler and John Buckler. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
