Ronald Leon Isaac

Ronald Leon Isaac was born on January 7, 1938, in Berea, Kentucky and departed this life on August 26, 2026, at his home in Bourbon County, Kentucky, at the age of 88. He was the son of Nancy Bullens Lanter and Earl Isaac, both of whom proceeded him in death. He was also proceeded in death by one son, Ronnie; 2 brothers, Roy Elbert Isaac and Joe Thomas Isaac, and 3 sisters, Lois Jane Isaac, Phyllis Isaac and Bonnie Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; two sons Mitch (Kim) Isaac, of Tyler, Texas, Jeffrey (Maria) Shelton of Dry Prong, Louisiana, and three daughters, Monna Brown of North Middletown, Kentucky, Carlene (Eric) Morrison, of Winchester, Kentucky and Sophia (Avery) Belgard of Jena, Louisiana. He leaves behind one sister, Lora (Kirby) Dayton of Georgetown Louisiana, 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He will always hold a special memory in the hearts of all of his family.
Ron, as he was known, joined the Air Force at an early age. After serving in the armed forces for eight and one-half years, he began a career in the oil production industry. This took him all over the world, with Reading and Bates Oil Company in Houston, TX, as he worked his way up from Roustabout to Executive Superintendent over oil platform (Mr. Jack) wherever he traveled. He always believed in doing things right, or not doing them at all, which led him to a very successful career.
He worked diligently in order to one day buy his own farm. Upon retirement, he achieved that goal and bought a farm on See Road in Bourbon County, Kentucky. He worked tirelessly to turn the now working farm into the beautiful property that it is today. He loved working on his farm, especially in cattle and also enjoyed showing his Rocky Mountain Horses.
Ron was a generous, kind person, always willing to help anyone in need. He developed a close relationship with all of his neighbors on See Road and was always available to lend a helping hand, or anything in his possession that they may need.
He will be missed dearly by his wife, other family members and everyone who knew and loved him. Gone, but never forgotten.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday August 31, 2026, by Rex Graham at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial following at the Battlegrove Cemetery, Cynthiana, KY with United States Air Force funeral honors.
Visitation will be at 11:00 AM Monday August 31, 2026, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
