Howard “Sam” Samuel M. Livingood, Jr.

Howard “Sam” Samuel M. Livingood, Jr, 71, of Cynthiana, KY, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2025, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born in Paris, KY, on August 4, 1954, to the late Howard Samuel M. and Stella Irene Stanfield Livingood Sr.
Sam enjoyed music, he played the organ, and he was active in the church, Carlisle United Methodist. Sam also enjoyed being a nurse for 30+ years.
Sam is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cathy Marie Stein Livingood; a son, Jamie (Jenni) Livingood; a daughter, Stellana (Jonathan) Livingood Tobin; two brothers, Alton (Lisa) Livingood, Arden (Sandy) Livingood; one sister, Cindy (Mark) Ritchie; and his grandchildren, Maddy Tobin, Jameson Livingood, Colten Estes, Jensen Livingood, KoriAnn Estes, McKenzie Estes.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will be just prior to the service from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service at 7:00 P.M., all at Ware Funeral Home.
