First day to sign and submit nomination papers:November 5, 2025
(The first Wednesday after the first Monday in November)
Filing deadline for candidates in the May 2026 Primary:Friday, January 9, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Filing deadline for nonpartisan & independent candidates (General Election):Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Last day to change party affiliation to vote in that party’s primary:December 31, 2025
