Little League Season begins April 18 at new Millersburg Road Park

Watch the Bourbon County Citizen’s  special edition for 2026 Little League baseball season  – Games are scheduled to begin April 13, with a county‑wide baseball celebration set for April 18 with a parade and many other activities at the new Millersburg Road Park . Nearly 350 young athletes are involved in the program. The Bourbon County Youth Baseball League has officially announced its new partnership with Blue Grass Federal, who will serve as the league’s official baseball sponsor for the 2026 season. As part of the agreement, every coach received a dozen practice balls, and each game’s winning team will be awarded a game ball to present to their MVP.On May 9, the league will be featured during Bourbon County Night at the Lexington Legends ballpark. All players will be invited onto the field for pregame festivities, giving local kids a chance to experience a professional‑style atmosphere and create memories under the stadium lights.
