Bridge deck pothole repairs planned May 12-15
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 8, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled lane closures on New Circle Road (KY 4) in Fayette County for bridge deck pothole repairs.
Work will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, at the following locations:
- Tuesday, May 12 – Westbound inner loop near mile point 17.0 over Chinoe Road
- Wednesday, May 13 – Westbound inner loop near mile point 17.5 over Tates Creek Road
- Friday, May 15 – Westbound inner loop near mile point 18.5 over Lansdowne Drive
Lane closures will occur in the right/slow lane on May 12 and May 13, and in the left/fast lane on May 15.
Motorists should use caution, reduce speed and watch for personnel and equipment in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
