William Earl Kissick

William Earl Kissick, 87, of Bourbon County, Kentucky, passed peacefully on June 2, 2026.
Born on June 20, 1938, in Bourbon County, William was the son of the late Earl Kissick and Ethel Kissick. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, George Kissick and Harland Kissick.
William attended North Middletown School, where he met the love of his life, Margaret, in the first grade. Their childhood friendship blossomed into a lifelong love story, and they were blessed to recently celebrate 67 years of marriage together.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, William treasured time spent with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Kissick; his daughter, Renee Waugh (Rodney Waugh); his grandchildren, Alyssa Dailey (Chase Ritchey), Alexa Dailey, and Aleigha Petrosian; his great-granddaughter, Eliza Ritchey; and a precious great-grandchild, Baby Carson, who is expected soon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
William was a faithful member of Calvary Christian Church. He found great joy in gardening and took pride in tending his garden each year. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with family and sharing stories. William was the former owner of Millersburg Coal and Lumber and Kissick Interior; had been a bus driver for Bluegrass Tours; was a member of Bourbon County Rhythm Cloggers; and had served in the Army National Guard.
William will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering devotion to his family, kind heart, and steadfast faith. His legacy of love, hard work, and commitment to those he cherished will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew him.
The family finds comfort in knowing that William is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who have gone before him.
Visitation was 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment was in Evergreen Memory Gardens. www.hintonturner.com
