TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Road Closure Scheduled on Taylor Drive in Fayette County

Drainage pipe installation planned May 11-18

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 7, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on Taylor Drive in Fayette County for drainage pipe installation work.

Taylor Drive will be closed at the intersection with Leestown Road (U.S. 421) beginning Monday, May 11 at 6 a.m. and continuing through the end of the day on Monday, May 18, weather permitting.

Motorists should use alternate routes, including Old Leestown Road and Boiling Springs Drive.

Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
