Letton Clifton “Cliff” Williams
Letton Clifton “Cliff” Williams, widower of Linda Jean Freese Williams, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 21, 2019, having attained the age of 64. He was born in Georgetown, Kentucky, on June 12, 1955, the son of the late Richard Oliver and Mary Helen Hedges Williams. He was a 1973 graduate of Bourbon County High School, a 1978 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, having attained his Bachelor’s Degree, a member of Kappa Alpha Order, Kentucky Jaycees Senate, Ruddles Mills Christian Church, and was a retired banker from National City Bank.
Surviving is a daughter, Lindsay Jean (Zachery) Jones; two sons, Clifton Tyler (Alyssa) Williams, and Craig Spencer (Amy) Williams. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Williams, Adrian Tyler Williams, Teagan Jean Jones, Asher Thomas Williams, Nicholas Reed Williams, Logan Kate Jones; a brother, Mike (Rita) Williams; and nephews, Michael (Chris) Williams and Rodney (Carrie) Williams.
The funeral service for Letton Clifton Williams will be on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. John McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be Tyler Williams, Craig Williams, Zachery Jones, Stewart Dickerson, Mike Grimes, Greg Messer, and Samuel Tatum III. Honorary bearers will be Mike Williams, Michael Williams, Rodney Williams, Trevor Williams, Landon Williams, M.J. Carmon, Jim Dulin, and Jim Schumacher.
