George Franklin “Frank” Asbury

George Franklin “Frank” Asbury, 77, husband of Imogene Wagoner Asbury for 53 years, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his home.
Born January 17, 1942 in Nicholas County to the late Marion Eugene and Delphia Mae Fisher Asbury, he was a U. S. Army veteran, a former employee of Claiborne Farm in Paris and retired from the Aramark Company.
Also surviving are two daughters: Pamela Asbury, of Harrison County, and Michelle Morris, of Nicholas County; a brother, David Lee (Tina) Asbury,of Paris; two sisters: Mary Willoughby and Penny Watkins, both of Carlisle; three grandchildren: Matthew (Karol) Morris, Bradley (Ashley) Morris and Dustin Morris; and a great-granddaughter, Brinley Morris, and expected great-granddaughter, Evelyn Morris.
Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Ginger Asbury; a son-in-law, Stephen Morris; three brothers: Tony Asbury, Sr., Eslie Asbury,
Sr. and Billy Ray Asbury; and a sister, Betty Willoughby.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Sam Campbell.  Burial with military honors  followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Casket bearers are David Asbury, Jeff Asbury, Tony Asbury, Jr., James Wagoner, Jim Robert Willoughby, Mike Willoughby, Steven Willoughby and Timmy Willoughby.
Honorary bearers areMatthew, Bradley and Dustin Morris.
