Alexis Michelle Elam

Alexis Michelle Elam, 23, died Wednesday October 21, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

She was born in Georgetown, KY to Jessica Elam and Henry Howard.  Alexis was an instructional assistant at Paris High School and was working on obtaining her nursing degree.  She was a 2015 graduate of Paris High School and a member of New Life Ministries, Paris, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Taj Elam-Smith; two brothers, Zavyer Elam and Jacquez Dumphord; one sister, Asia Howard; grandparents, Thomas and Shellie Woods and Henry Patterson; niece, Aumorianna Howard; aunt Lisa (Steve) York; uncle, Dean McFarland ; special cousins, Jazmine McFarland, John York, Kaitlyn York and Kammie Earlywine; special friends, Ashley Derrickson Trenton Derrickson, Taylor Derrickson, Sam Derrickson and Lisa Earlywine; special sister, Madissen Bailey and a host of cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Teresa Howard; aunt, Judy McFarland and special friend, Brenda Earlywine.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Monday October 26, 2020 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Dr. Morgan Gilkey.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
