Deborah Darlene “Debbie” Ritchie
Deborah Darlene “Debbie” Ritchie, 66, of Carlisle, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021.
Born September 25, 1954, in Harrison County, KY, she was a drill operator for Nally & Gibson Georgetown, LLC, also having worked at Bourbon Limestone, and attended Ruddles Mills Christian Church. She dearly loved her children, her grandchildren & her precious dog, Oreo. She enjoyed kayaking, being involved with the Nicholas Co. Band Boosters and watching UK Basketball games. Forever a hard-worker, Debbie always accomplished whatever she set out to do.
Surviving are her mother, Wanda Hawkins Ritchie Tincher, of Paris; 4 daughters: Paula Auxier, of Lexington, Chrisa Auxier, of Nashville, Tennessee, Jennifer Ball, of Richmond, and Brittany Ritchie, of Carlisle; 6 brothers & sisters: John Paul (Dianna) Ritchie, of Nicholas County, Beverly Waters, of Paris, Lisa (Ron) McClain, of Bath County, Linda (Tony) Fryman, of Carlisle, Patrick Paul (Susan) Ritchie, of Nicholas County, and Teresa (Kelly) Beach, of Paris; 7 grandchildren: Amber & Jessica Auxier, Kalep (Lacey) Brierly, Keeli (Rex) Kelley, Karson & Alexander “Bub” Ball and Addie Griggs; 2 great-grandchildren, Jazlyn & Abrianna Auxier.
Preceding her in death were her father & step-mother, Paul and Janette Ritchie, and her step-father, Billy Allen Tincher.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m., Wednesday.
