Steven Douglas Ritchie

Steven Douglas Ritchie, 61, spouse of Robin Bradburn Ritchie, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024. Born in Carlisle, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clyde and Betty Jane (Willouby) Ritchie.
A mechanic for Chuck’s Garage, he was an A-6 certified Chevrolet technician and enjoyed working on cars. His love for cars ran deep and he was the proud owner of an all original ’79 El Camino. Steven was one of kind and loved spending time with his family and being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing and being out on his boat. He always had a Coca- Cola in his hands and was a huge Chevy fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Steven Scott Ritchie and Trent (Lauren) Ritchie; two daughters, Kimberlynn Reynolds Ritchie and Brianna (Austin) Sumpter; sisters, Debra Banfield and Brenda Griggs; and grandchildren, Theron Scott Ritchie, Trenten Clay Stafford, Isabel Lillian Hope Stafford, Sophie Renee Stafford, Jace Gabriel Stafford, Caysen Douglas Ritchie, Averie Rose Ritchie, Trent Douglas Ritchie, Jr., Gracelynn Rae Sumpter, Eastyn Layne Sumpter, and Kimalee J. Sumpter. He also leaves behind his precious American Bulldog, Ginger which he called “G-Baby.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
