Dennie Lee Ferrell

Dennie Lee Ferrell, age 66, a lifelong Bourbon County farmer, husband of Julie Linville Ferrell, died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born September 26, 1958 in Paris, son of Dennie V. Ferrell and the late Emma Lee Bussell Ferrell.
Dennie Lee was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, received his American Farmers Degree, served on the board of directors for Bourbon County Farm Bureau, 4-H, and the Harold Wagoner Scholarship. He was a member of the Young Farmers and Ruddles Mill Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; father, Dennie; children, Debralee (Billy) Wade, Hillary (Andrew) Norton, Todd (Alex) Ferrell, Sara Wells, Paige Florence, Ivy Baxter; a sister, Jennifer (Dean) Favorite; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John McGuire officiating. Casket bearers are his grandchildren and Marvin Frederick.
