Gary Gene Elswick

Gary Gene Elswick, husband of Connie Elswick, of North Middletown, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 78 years. Gary was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, on July 25, 1946, the son of the late Bill Elswick and Esther Tackett Johnson, was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam, and was retired from A.T.&T. where he worked for many years. He had a love for fishing, woodworking, and was an avid fan of U.K. ballgames. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Elswick; two sisters, Norella Damron, Glenda Joyce Elswick; and his beloved dog, Pete.
Along with his wife Connie, he is survived by a son, Gary Todd Elswick; several cousins; nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Buddy.
The visitation for Gary Gene Elswick will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home until time for the service, which will be begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full military honors.
