Larry Wayne Florence

Larry Wayne Florence of Frankfort, Kentucky, widower of Eunice Henry Florence, departed this life on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington, having attained the age of 85 years.   Larry was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky on August 4, 1939, the son of the late Melbourne and Emily Spratt Dragoo Florence, was a veteran of the United State Army, a retired machinist, was a member of the St. Andrews Lodge #13 F&AM, as well as Lodge #127, IOOF, both in Cynthiana.   He was also a member of Beaver Baptist Church in Cynthiana, Kentucky.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Thomas Florence.

Surviving are three daughters, Teresa Lynn Moore, Pamela Marie Franklin, Tonya Tibbits; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild, with one additional on the way.

The funeral service for Larry Wayne Florence will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Hinton-Tuner Funeral Home with Celebrant Sharon L. Berry officiating.    Interment will follow in Paris cemetery.    Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.   www.hintonturner.come
