Rodney Lee Locke

Rodney Lee Locke, age 66, of Lexington, departed this on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at his home. Rodney was born on December 11, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late James Edward and Julie Ann Allen Locke, and had attended college at Eastern Kentucky University. He had worked as an associate for Walmart before retiring, was a huge Barbar Streisand fan, and loved dogs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mae Locke.
Rodney is survived by a brother, William “Willie” Locke; one half-brother, Chester Dutcshke; as well as several stepbrothers and stepsisters.
The family chose cremation with a memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to Lexington Fayette County Animal Shelter, 160 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504, lexingtonhumanesociety.org. www.hintonturner.com
