Edward Earl Barnett, aged 56, of Nicholasville, KY, passed away on March 3, 2025, surrounded by his family in Lexington, KY. Born on June 9, 1968, Edward made his mark as a skilled electrician, renowned for his dedication and expertise. His infectious enthusiasm extended to his love for bowling, strumming the guitar, and enjoying serene afternoons fishing.
Edward’s unwavering spirit is celebrated by his beloved mother, Susan Marcum; his devoted wife, Billie Jo Barnett; his cherished daughter, DeeDee Barnett; and his dedicated stepson, Brian Buchanan. His legacy of joy and kindness lives on through the laughter of his nieces; Hayley Ford, Lexi Rawlins and his three grandchildren; Hunter Buchanan, Taylor Buchanan and Jordan Buchanan.
He will be dearly remembered by his siblings, Ashley, Chrystal, Raymond, and Quentin. Edward leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with love, music, and the echo of bowling strikes. His departure was preceded by his father, Raymond Barnett. His bright light will continue to guide and inspire all who knew him.
