Arnold Hutson Ball

Arnold Hutson Ball, II, 78, of Nicholas County, husband of 59 years to Connie Thornberry Ball, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born October 15, 1946 in Bourbon County to the late Arnold H. and Ruth Wills Ball, he was a 1964 graduate of Bourbon County High School, served in the Kentucky Army National Guard, retired after 37-1/2 years working at the Square-D Company, was a lifelong farmer and member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. Arnold enjoyed fishing and riding his side-by-side on the farm. He also loved attending car shows and the Clay City drag races. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, friends and his beloved pets.
Also surviving are his son, Steve Ball; and his three grandchildren: Colin H. (Stella) Ball, Connor J. Ball and Callie H. Ball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Carson H. Ball.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 22nd at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Kenton Holbrook with burial following in Carlisle Cemetery.
Casketbearers are Callie Ball, Colin Ball, Connor Ball, Steve Ball, Gary Pontius and Ronnie Pontius.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of service.
