Anthony (Tony) Lee Bates

Anthony (Tony) Lee Bates departed this life on Friday, March 16th 2025 at his home.Tony was 64 years old. Tony was born in Bourbon County on October 3rd 1960. He was the son of the late Julian Martin Bates and Betty Lou Zornes Bates
A graduate of Paris High School and a Veteran of the US Army. He was also a member of DAV and a Co-Chairman of Alcohol Anonymous. He also enjoyed playing pool, domino’s, and fishing.
He is survived by brother Michael (Teresa) Bates, brother John (Jennifer) Bates, sisters, Sandra Bates, Terry Allen and Shelia Maurer and several nieces and nephews. Also, Ex Wife and best friend, Beth Young.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, the 29th of March at Paris Cemetery Chapel from 1-3. Frank Ball will be officiating. All are welcome and appreciated. Flowers can be delivered to chapel.
