Jill Evans

Jill Evans 64 passed away June 2, 2025. She was born in Nicholas County April 27, 1961, to the late Ray Lewis and Sylvia Browning Evans. She was a telephone technician at Teletech. She loved fishing, camping, music being with her family and friends, gardening and birdwatching.
She is survived by a son David Wayne Cox, six grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Rhodes, Samantha Jo Cox, Steven Wayne Cox, David Shane Cox, Tesla Ginger Tylene Cox and Waylon Axle Boone Cox, four great grandchildren, and her fur baby Anna Mae, her siblings, Pat Evans, Sherman Evans, Kenny Evans, Joe Evans, Chucky Evans, Gail Eckler, Faith Eckler, Cherry Hunt, Jimmy Evans and Reba Detro and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Mariah Nicole Thomas, who has her beautiful wings, two fur babies Babyface Nelson and John Wayne, two brothers Billy Evans and Ray Lewis Evans Jr., and two sisters Violet Evans, Jessie Cooper. A beloved nephew Robert Gene ‘Egor’ Evans.
Funeral services was held at 5 pm on Friday June 6, 2025, at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Tolson officiating. Visitation was Friday 2 pm – 5 pm. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
