Turney Clay Myers, 96, husband of Loraine Buchanan Myers, died Tuesday January 7, 2020 at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.
A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Fred and Ida Snapp Myers. He was a farm manager for Claiborne Farms of Paris, KY, a member of Bedford Acres Christian Church, a veteran of the United States Army and he loved to raise a garden.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five children, Phyllis (Gary) Garrison, Diana (Bobby) Rainey, Alvin Myers, John Anthony Myers and Teresa (Randy) Brewer; eight grandchildren, Kurt Garrison, Bobby Clay (Jessica) Rainey, Paula Beth (Jordan) Joy, Ashley Lawson, Amanda Myers, Chad (Irene) Myers, Joe (Sabrina) Brewer and Justin (Kelsey) Brewer; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 9, 2020 at the Bedford Acres Christian Church, 5414 Lexington Rd., Paris, KY by Bro. Dean Scott and Bro. Jim Hutchison. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday January 8, 2020 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
Pallbearers will be Kurt Garrison, Joe Brewer, Justin Brewer, Chad Myers, Bobby Clay Rainey and Ashton Lawson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Nathan Moore, Don Menke, Charlie McDonald, Seth Hancock, Walker Hancock, Gary Garrison, Randy Brewer and Bobby Rainey.
