Sharon Resa Shuler

Sharon Resa Shuler, wife of Rickey Shuler, departed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Bourbon County Community Hospital, having attained the age of 53 years.   Sharon was born on September 16, 1970, in Paris, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Pryce and Martha Turner Sebastian, was a 1988 graduate of Jessamine County High School, attended nursing school, worked for Humana in health assessment, and was previously an employee with Kentucky’s Higher Education Student Loan Association.    She loved animals, especially foxes, was very kind and loving with a funny personality, always having a joke, and especially loved being with her grandchildren and having her entire family together.   She was a member of Silas Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Baby Billy Shuler.

Along with her husband Rickey, she is survived by three sons, Ethan (Hannah) Shuler, Evan (Revin) Shuler, Aidan (Evelyn) Shuler; two grandchildren, Delany Shuler, Waylon Shuler; a brother, Steve Sebastian; and brother-in-law, Vernon Victor Shuler.   Also surviving is a “special” sister, Joyce Thornberry; and a goddaughter, Jackie Rae Thornberry.
