Traci Lynn Royse Wasson

Traci Lynn Royse Wasson, 56, of Paris, wife of Joey David Wasson, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Born October 20, 1967 in Bourbon County, she worked as a pharmacy technician at Wal-Mart, had been a beautician for several years and was a member of Little Rock Christian Church. Traci greatly enjoyed reading, playing Skip Bo and traveling, especially to the beach and Tennessee.

In addition to her husband, Joey, she is survived by her mother, Sherrie Roberts Royse Wilson, of Little Rock; her daughter, Shae Royse (Thomas) Stanfield; two stepdaughters, Alexis Nicole Wasson and Tabitha Michelle Wasson; two brothers, Kent Royse and Edward Royse; two sisters, Stephanie Adams and Barbara (Chris) Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry D. Wasson and Brenda Joyce (Erin) Lamy; two grandchildren, Joanna Nicole Lynn Stanfield and Amberleigh Mae Nicole Oney; and her nieces and nephew, Aleena Royse, Austin (Samantha) Adams and Carraden Adams.

Traci was preceded in death by her father, Alan Lee Royse; her maternal grandparents, Marion Chad and Edelweiss “Weisy” Spencer Roberts; her paternal grandparents, Dallas Chester and Beatrice Herrington Royse; and her in-laws, Jerry Wayne and Janie Pollard Wasson.

Following cremation, the family will hold a memorial service 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 18th at Little Rock Christian Church, 3207 Cane Ridge Road, Paris, Kentucky 40361.
