Thomas Augustus Britton
Thomas Augustus Britton, 63, husband of Sandra Ransom Britton, died Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Baptist Health, Elizabethtown, KY.
A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Barton and Mary Frances Grinney Britton. He was a steelworker with Ruskin Manufacturing, a former member of the First Baptist Church, Paris, KY and a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. He liked Diecast Model cars, whittling, movies, and trips to the local flea market and Amoco gas station.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Teran (Justin) Herthel and Alex Britton; one grandson, Wendell Herthel; six siblings, Robert (Sara) Britton, J.B. (Mary) Britton, Phyllis (Jerry) Barnes, Cheryl Watkins, Michael Britton, and Richard Britton.
A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. John Reese.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the funeral home.
