Bobby Jack Lutes

Bobby Jack Lutes, 90, died Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.

A native of Versailles, KY, he was the son of the late Anderson Wallace Lutes and Mary Bell Lanham Lutes. He was an Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War. After the military, he attended the University of Kentucky for 3 years on the GI bill then worked as a Manager of the Airways Facility Sector for the Federal Aviation Administration at the South Bend, Indiana Regional Airport. After retirement, he enjoyed farming at his farm in North Middletown, KY.

He is survived by four children, Bobby Clay Lutes, Stephen Kent Lutes, Mary Delia Lutes, and Christian Dwight Lutes; four grandchildren, Rhea Lutes (Lance) Campbell, Robert Browning (Crystal) Lutes, Stephanie Caitlin Lutes, and Codi Beth Lutes; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Crump and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lutes, and five sisters, Beulah Cook, Clara Hurd, Mildred Van Hook, Betty Ward, and Juanita Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Jerome Harney. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.

Visitation is at 5-8 PM Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Bradley Montgomery, Jimbo Insko, Chris Lutes, and Timmy Sosby.
