Willene Ray Barton

Willene Ray Barton, 91, widow of the late Harlan Craig Barton, died Tuesday January 16, 2024, at the Robertson County Health Care Center, Mt. Olivet, KY.
She was born in Monteray, TN to the late Rufus B. and Myrtle Blaylock Ray. She worked at the Carlisle IGA for many years and later was the Food Sampler at Sam’s Club in Lexington. Willene loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, cooking for them and trying to teach them how to cook as well. She also enjoyed gardening, was a member of the Carlisle Christian Church and the Eastern Star, Paris Marie Chapter 167.
She is survived by two children, Rodney (Leeanne) Barton and Becky (George) Garrett; eleven grandchildren, Darrin Barker, Rhonda Quidas, Bill Barker, Tina Libby, James Beauregard, Daniel Barton, Andrew Brainard, Clif Garrett, Jacob Garrett, Hannah McCarty and Taylor Garrett; several great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Ray and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Douglas Barton and Tony Barton; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Feeback; four grandchildren, Brian Barker, Monique Benton, Jeremy Barton and Jennifer Williams; one sister, Wanda Allen and three brothers, Dolan Ray, Rex Ray and Clinton Ray.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday January 23, 2024, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Steve Smith, Jonathan Allison and Andrew Brainard. Burial followed in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation was from 11:00 AM Tuesday January 23, 2024, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Daniel Barton, Jeff Williams, Andrew Brainard, Andy McCarty, Taylor Garrett and James Beauregard.
Honorary pallbearers were Roger Libby and James Laing.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
