Maryalice Henry Hilander

Maryalice Henry Hilander, 82, wife of Truman Hilander for almost 60 years, died Saturday February 24, 2024, at the Boonesboro Trail Senior Living Center, Winchester, KY.

She was born in New Washington, IN to the late William “Dub” and Lillian Perkins Henry. She was a homemaker, seamstress, she made clothing for her children when they were little and enjoyed her flowers. Maryalice dedicated her life to raising her children, they were her priority. She taught them how to ride horses, helped them get into 4-H and was involved in the PTA.

Maryalice will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Truman Hilander; three children, William Todd (Kelly) Hilander, Shannon (Michael) Jones and Alicia (Chris) Robinson; seven grandchildren, Jay (Laura) Hilander, Jared (Hailey) Hilander, Jaxson (Haley) Hilander, Jessica (Justin Gilvin) Jones, Mason Jones, Dillon (Brooklyn Kinder) Robinson and Bradley Robinson; three great grandchildren, Eli Hilander, Owen Hilander and Jenna Gilvin; one brother, William “Billy” Henry and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Samantha Hilander and one sister, LaQuita Payton.

There will be a private family service.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to one’s favorite charity.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
