John Davidson Florence

John Davidson Florence, 42, died Monday March 4, 2024, at Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.
Born in Cynthiana, KY, he was the son of Dan Rutherford and Brenda Florence. He worked at a number of fast-food restaurants and enjoyed tinkering with electronics in his spare time.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother, Kevin Florence; two half-brothers, Jerry Rutherford, Timothy Rutherford; two uncles, Danny Purvis, James Purvis and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry Purvis and Mamie Purvis; two uncles, Henry Purvis Jr., Bobby Purvis and one aunt, Linda Sands.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2024, at Lusk-McFarland Chapel, 1120 Main Street, Paris, KY by Pastor Kristin Clouse. Burial was at Millersburg Cemetery.
Visitation was from 1-2 PM Friday, March 8, 2024, at the funeral home.
