James Donald Boyle

James Donald Boyle, husband of Anna Lee Williamson Boyle, 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Kenwood Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond, Kentucky. He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky on January 23, 1935 to the late Dudley Nolan Boyle and Eva Jane McFarland Boyle. He married his wife of nearly sixty years, Anna Boyle on December 19, 1964. Mr. Boyle served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. He was a retired trooper with the Kentucky State Police, where he had worked for thirty years. At the time of his retirement he was an Administrative Sergeant at Post 14 in Ashland, Kentucky. After retiring, he then worked for the U.S. Marshal Service for ten years. He also was a member of Westside Christian Church.

In addition to his loving wife, Anna Lee Boyle, He is survived by his two children, Kathryn Lynn Boyle (Deborah Wright) and James Matthew Boyle (Lee Ann); a brother, Edmond Lane Boyle (Mary Adele); grandchildren, Madeline Lee Boyle, Mary Grace Boyle, Bruce Lainhart, Brittany Lainhart, Josh Wright and Kelly Wright; great grandchildren, Presley Kelley, Paisley Whittemore, Jaylen Wright and Sienna Wright.

Pallbearers will be KSP Troopers from the Richmond Post 7.

Services were on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home with Darren Allen officiating. Visitation was from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment was in the Madison Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
