Juddah Marie Cunningham
Jaddah’s life was rich with the joy of family. She is survived by her devoted mother Katherine Parker and sister Kimberly (Demetric) Goode, and her loving children, Doryae (Alyssa) Cunningham, Tayjin (Lizzie Preston) Cunningham, Jayden Cunningham, Daniya Cunningham, Autumn Rutledge, and Austin Rutledge. Jaddah’s bond with her boyfriend, Ray Rutledge, and bonus mom Dee Cunningham was one of unwavering love and mutual respect. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Keon Cunningham, Teighlor Cunningham, and Aloni Jackson. Jaddah also leaves behind her cherished nieces Triniti Rice and Jhade Rice, NaTasha Cunningham, Daijah Bolton, Mpoh Cunningham, and Sydney Cunningham and nephews, Johnathan Cunningham, and Chris Bolton ( Arjanai) as well as her great-nephew, Jacobe Brown, Jr. Her special uncle, Mitchell Chenault, and her dear cousins, Michelle Chenault, Markisha Chenault, Kristen Christopher, and RayVonne Myers, will hold her memory close to their hearts. Her special friends, Pamela Thames and Korinne Lindsay, bonus daughters, Kya Cunningham and Shas’ Meka Gilmore along with a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and godchildren will forever treasure the time they spent with her. Jaddah was preceded in death by her father, Joseph B. Parker.
Professionally, Jaddah dedicated many years to the United States Postal Service, where her diligence and warm personality were appreciated by both colleagues, supervisors, and customers alike. Her work ethic and commitment to her role were evident to all who worked alongside her.
Jaddah’s greatest interest was her family. She created a home filled with laughter, support, and unconditional love. Her presence was a comforting constant in the lives of her family members, and the memories they crafted together will continue to bring solace and joy in her absence.
To know Jaddah was to know a person who embodied love and thoughtfulness in every action. She had an innate ability to make each person feel valued, and her compassionate nature was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Jaddah’s life was a beautiful example of how to care deeply for others and to prioritize the happiness of those she loved.
As we bid farewell to Jaddah Marie Cunningham, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the profound impact she made on the lives of so many. Her spirit, characterized by love and kindness, will live on through the cherished memories she leaves behind. Jaddah’s journey through life was one of grace, and though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love will continue to inspire and guide us.
In honoring Jaddah’s memory, we reflect on the joy she brought into our lives and the lessons of compassion she imparted. May we all strive to carry forward the light of her spirit in our own lives, remembering always the warmth of her smile and the depth of her love.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main Street Paris, KY by Rev. Tony Gooch and Dr. Rev. Robert A Strode.
Visitation was from 12-1 PM Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Lusk-McFarland Chapel.
