Lexington , Kentucky – Paul McCarty Jr., 63, of Lexington, Kentucky, loving husband of Pamela J. McCarty, passed away on July 26, 2024. Paul was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 10, 1960 to Paul McCarty Sr. and Janis Applegate McCarty.
A Master HVAC Contractor, Paul was the proud owner and operator of HIGH VAC Services LLC. Despite his business successes and the many acquaintances he acquired due to his unmatched work ethic and unquestionable integrity, Paul was an even more exceptional husband, father, son, grandfather and friend.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by four children and their families, including eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: Son, Chris McCarty (Sheri); Grandchildren Haylie, Ashlee, and Stephen; Great-Grandchildren Cooper and Aubrie. Son, Matt McCarty (Jennifer); Grandchildren Trey, Jacob, Emma, Hadley, and Weston. Son, Michael McCarty (Jacqueline); Grandchildren Hayden, Blake, Benjamin. Daughter, Sarah K. Guthrie (Kevin).
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 1-3pm at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville. A funeral service will begin at approximately 3pm with a reception to follow until approximately 5pm at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed on the Clark Legacy Center’s Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions and expressions of sympathy may be made in honor of Mr. Paul McCarty Jr. to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Lexington Humane Society.
