Danny Webster Bell

Mr. Danny Webster Bell was born on October 23, 1949, in Paris KY to Ida Summers and Dudley Bell Sr. He is the youngest male of his siblings. Danny attended school in Paris, KY. During his educational tenure, he often visited his Aunt Hottie (Harriet) in Muskegon. Mi to. After graduating from Paris High School, He moved to Muskegon permanently.

One night while being young, wild, and free, He met his soulmate, Mary Alice Conley. They would then marry on his mother’s birthday, February 14, 1979. Through this union they created and maintained 7 children. Danny’s life started off tumultuous, losing his mother at the early age of 10. This left an impression on him as it taught him to hold on tightly to the ones you love. He would faithfully travel to KY the second week of July to attend his annual family reunion. Family was always paramount to him, and he impressed that heavily upon his children and grandchildren. He also taught them hard work; not only by speaking of it, but he also showed them how rewarding it could be.

He worked for Delta Hotels for over 30 years. Danny was wise beyond his years. He poured incessantly into his children and grandchildren. While in their formative years those teachings were seen as “fussing.” As they matured, those lessons would turn out to be priceless core values that would be needed to uphold the legacy that he tirelessly worked hard to build. Often the life of the party, Danny’s personality and spirit was too big for the trials and tribulations his body would take him through.

Ever the warrior, Danny fought valiantly, however, the Most High Stepped in and ushered Danny into the gates of paradise July 27th, 2024. The Merciful Most High knows best, and knew Danny accomplished great feats in life and served his purpose. An excellent father, mentor, grandfather, foster dad, uncle, cousin, coach, preacher, patriarch, and counselor will be greatly missed.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ida Summers and Dudley Bell Sr: Sisters; Anna Pearl Crumbie, Mary Emma Gray, Annie Hayes, Stella Ruth, Mamie Lee Grigsby, and Nanie Rose Walters: Brothers; Cecil Nichols, John William Gillespie, Herbert Summers, and Harold Gene Bell Sr: Cousins/Honorary Brothers; John McGuffey and Chris Mcguffey He leaves to cherish his memories Wife; Mary Alice Bell: Sons; Rasan (Vanessa) Davis and Raymond (Valerie) Williams: Daughters; Cynthia Conley, Diedra Williams, Ayanna (Alvin) Tornes, Andrea (Johnathon) Greer, and Tressa Bell: Brother; Dudley Bell Jr. Sisters; Nina (EB) Willis, Cordelia Cunningham, and Joan (Bob) Parker: 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
