Ruby Patterson Kemper

Ruby Patterson Kemper, 87, wife of the late Albert Kemper, Sr. died at her home in Paris, KY on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She was born in Paris, KY to the late Edward and Belle Patterson. Ruby was a member of the First Baptist Church, 128 W. 8th Street.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Crystal and Albert Kemper, Jr.; three grandchildren, William (Tony) Kemper, Jose Antwone Kemper, and preceded in death, Horatio Long Kemper. She also had 15 great grandchildren. She has 2 brothers, Keith Patterson and Shelton Patterson (Monica); one sister, Shirley Fields (Ray Fields).
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Ella Mae Gross, Cozene Hawkins, Joyce Rice (Raymond Rice) and 3 brothers, Ronnie Patterson, Frank Patterson, and Clifton Patterson (Ophelia Patterson).
She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Dr. Morgan Gilkey. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Richard Fields, Timothy Hawkins, Vincent Hawkins, William Kemper, Jose Kemper, and David Griggs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darryl Hawkins, Gary Rice, and Albert Kemper.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
