Brent Johnson

Brent Johnson, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024, in his hometown of Lexington, KY, where he was also born on January 18, 1967. His life was a testament to his enduring spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.
Brent’s legacy is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Siana Nicole Moore Johnson, his beloved mother, Judith Ann Foxx Johnson, and his four children, Preston, Siobhan (Hudson Krut), Patrick (Tabitha Horne), and Parrish Johnson. His memory will also be treasured by his two sisters, Karen Miller and Starr (John) Adams, his brother, Stephen (Misty) Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Allen Johnson, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.
Professionally, Brent was a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician with Three Wire Electric, a former locksmith with Pop a Lock, and the head of maintenance for Russ Properties. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through as the former owner of Lexington Locksmith, where he provided security and peace of mind to the community he loved.
Brent’s interests were as varied as they were passionate. As a longtime Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America, he was a revered member of the Kawida Lodge, earning the Vigil Honor and the Founders Award for his dedication. His love for history was evident in his meticulous historical model building, which he pursued with the precision and care of a true enthusiast.
Music was another of Brent’s great loves. He played bass guitar for several bands, including “On The Rocks,” “Crime Scene,” and most recently “The Scene,” bringing rhythm and soul to every performance. His adventurous spirit found a perfect outlet as an active participant in Renaissance Fairs, where he embraced the pageantry and camaraderie.
Brent was known for his humor, his interesting conversations, and his adventurous nature. He lived life fully, with a laugh always ready and a willingness to embark on new journeys. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire laughter, curiosity, and adventure in the hearts of his loved ones.
