Deborah Joe Myers

Deborah Jo Myers
Deborah Joe Myers, a spirited soul known for her love of music, dance, and her cherished grandchildren, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, in her hometown of Paris, Kentucky. Born on August 31, 1948, to the late William Myers and Amanda Hill Myers, Deborah’s vibrant life began in the same close-knit community she adored throughout her 76 years.
Deborah’s legacy is carried on by her loving family, including her two brothers, James Henry Myers (and wife Norma) and Rueben Lee Myers; her sisters, Betty Morgan and Anna Elizabeth Myers Rice; her special daughter, Latanya Myers; her niece, JaNay Myers; her special nephew, LaByron Myers; and her adored special grandchildren, Hendrix Myers, William Kyson Myers, and Rayniyah Speller. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, her brother William D Myers, her grandparents Eddie and Birdie Hill, and her uncle James Peach Hill.
Professionally, Deborah was a skilled seamstress at Kentucky Textiles and later contributed her talents to Accutran. Her colleagues will remember her as a dedicated worker who brought joy and determination to every task.
Deborah’s passion for life was evident to all who knew her. She was very outspoken, never shying away from speaking her mind, and her presence could light up any room. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she instilled in them the same zest for life that she carried in her heart.
Deborah Joe Myers will be profoundly missed, but her indomitable spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
