Jennifer Ann Jones Ramey, aged 55, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, in Lexington, KY. Born on November 28, 1969, in Paris, KY, to Deborah Taulbee Jones and the late James Jones, Sr., Jennifer was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life.
Jennifer spent her professional years as a dedicated machine operator at Kentucky Textiles and SEKRI, where her work ethic and friendly disposition were deeply appreciated by her colleagues. She was revered not only for her professional commitment but also for her active involvement in her community and associations, where she made lasting contributions and forged enduring friendships.
Surviving Jennifer are her beloved husband, Anthony Ramey; her adoring children, Hali (Justin) Cundiff, Hannah (Austin) Harney, and Rodger (Lauren Watkins) Sargent. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Robert Allen Allison, Jessica Cundiff, Charlee Kate Sargent, Forest Lane Sargent, and several cherished bonus grandchildren. Jennifer is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, John Wayne (Gail) Jones and James (Stacy) Jones, Jr., her mother, Deborah Taulbee Jones, and a community of family and friends who were touched by her warmth. She was preceded in death by her father, James Jones, Sr., and grandchildren, Kaylen Sargent, Ryder Cundiff, Riley Cundiff, Hera Cundiff and Abel Cundiff.
Above all, Jennifer will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend whose kindness and friendly spirit enriched the lives of those around her. Her unwavering affection and caring nature ensured that time spent with her was full of joy and warmth, leaving a lasting legacy of love.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday February 18, 2025, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Chester Ramey and Bro. Jackie Stamper. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Tuesday until the hour of service at the funeral home.
