Nelson Ray Davis, Jr.

Nelson Ray Davis, Jr., age 56, departed this life on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Nelson was born on March 03, 1968, in Paris, Kentucky, the son of the late Donna Jean Sanders and Nelson Ray Davis, Sr., was a Bourbon County High School graduate, a member of the Paris Church of Christ, and enjoyed spending time fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Kimberly Ray Davis Hedges and Connie Jean Peavler.
Surviving are three sons, Nelson Ray (Kimberly) Davis, III, Michael Ryan Davis, William Robert Davis; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Virgil Clay (Amy) Davis, and Steve (Marie) Davis.
The funeral service for Nelson Ray Davis, Jr. was at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Corns officiating. Interment followed in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Nelson Ray Davis III, Michael Ryan Davis, William Robert Davis, Steven Wade Davis II, Corey Allen Davis, and Cody Lee Davis.
