Rose Marie Moore Sheeler

Rose Marie Moore Sheeler, age 85 of Lexington, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. She was born March 18, 1939, in Nicholasville, KY, the daughter of the late Hillary David and Nina Marie Moore. She was retired from her own business adventures. She will be fondly remembered for her passion for cooking, her love for gardening, decorating, and spending time with her family. Rose will also be remembered for her adventure for traveling and her love for her pets.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Lisa McFarland (Todd), her sons, Michael Bishop (Dorothy Jean), and Mark Bishop; grandchildren Chelsea Jacobson (Brendan), Erik Bishop, Brandon Bishop, and Alex McFarland; great grandsons, James Walker Jacobson and Brooks Clay Jacobson, a sister Cheryl Hager along with numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Homer David Moore
Funeral services were at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-3421 Harrodsburg Road. Visitation was 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Burial was at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
