Connie Lou Collins

Connie Lou Collins (nee Rankin) age 70, passed away at her home in Edgewood, Kentucky on July 8, 2025.
She was born October 15, 1955, in Paris Kentucky to the late John Rankin and late Claire Rankin (Newsome). She was the youngest of three children and grew up in Pickerington, Ohio.
Connie received her bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and retired from Western & Southern Life.
Connie was preceded in death by her brother John Thomas Rankin Jr. and her sister Phyllis Rankin Garrison.
She is survived by her beloved sons Kevin and Tracy (Ashley) Collins and two granddaughters Madison and Mackenzie as well as niece Rene Harper and nephew Robin Garrison.
Connie valued education and continued taking classes through her adult life. She took pride in maintaining her yard and enjoyed trimming her roses.
The burial was at Fred Newsome Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky on Saturday August 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fred Newsome Cemetery.
