Woodford Wayne Turner

Woodford Wayne Turner, 76, husband of Lena Jones Turner, died August 6, 2025. He was born on August 18, 1948, to the late Woodford Boyd and Lillian Osborne Turner in Bourbon County. He is survived by two sons Ethan Turner and Josef Turner, a niece, Paula (Leo) Purcell, and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Turner Reynolds and nephews Mark and Todd Reynolds. He was a graduate of Bourbon County High School and Kentucky Business College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served with the Gideon’s Association. He retired from the Paris Police Department and as Bourbon County Property Valuation Administrator. Private services will be held with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Pastor Kyle Sullivan will officiate.
