Greg “Hollywood” Baker, age 53, of Paris, Kentucky, passed away on June 26, 2026. He was born on December 25, 1972, in Irvin, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a deep love for the horses that shaped much of his journey.
Greg was known by many as “Hollywood,” a nickname that reflected his memorable personality and the way he carried himself with confidence and charm. He had a strong presence, a quick wit, and a warm heart that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was a man who valued honesty, loyalty, and the simple joys of life, and he will be remembered for the kindness he showed and the steady example he set for those around him.
A dedicated horse trainer, Greg spent much of his life working with horses and developing the skills that made him respected in his field. His patience, knowledge, and natural understanding of animals earned him the admiration of many. He took pride in his work and found purpose in the daily discipline and commitment that came with it. Through his career, he formed lasting friendships and became part of a community that appreciated his talent and his dependable nature.
Above all else, Greg loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Baker; his children, Stacy (Logan) True, Mandy (CJ) Biddle, Megan Smith, Zachary Beaton, and Gregory Baker; and his grandchildren, Kayley Cocanougher, Delaney True, Charlie Biddle, Walter Biddle, Xander Mitchell, and Conner Biddle. He also leaves behind his brothers, Dwayne Biddle and Doug “Little Doug” Tincher, and his sister, Diane Baker. Greg treasured the bonds he shared with his loved ones, and his family was the center of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Baker. Greg carried the memory of those who went before him with quiet strength and respect, and his family now holds close the many memories they shared together.
Greg’s life was one of dedication, love, and enduring connection. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his devotion to his family, and the lasting impact he made on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
