Felicia Ann Moore Nava
Felicia Ann Moore Nava, known affectionately as Felicia to all who knew her, passed away on May 28, 2024, in Lexington, KY, at the age of 30. Born on February 17, 1994, in Georgetown, KY, she was filled with love and creativity, touching the lives of everyone around her with her warmth and kindness.
Felicia was preceded in death by her mother, Gina Ann Semones, and her maternal grandparents, Arvin and Ethel Lane. She was a loving mother to her cherished children, Elio Vazquez, Liam Vazquez, Fausto Nava, Chiara Nava, and Jakobi Nava. Her role as a mother was the most important aspect of her life, and she embraced it with every fiber of her being.
She is survived by her siblings, Candace Moore, Ashleigh Katuzian and her husband Satnam Singh, Charlie Semones, and Michael Dingus and his fiance Kendra. She is also survived by her father, Elmer Moore. Felicia’s presence will also be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, and cousins, who found in her a source of joy and inspiration.
Felicia was a proud graduate of Tates Creek High School and furthered her education by obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. She chose to dedicate her life to her family as a homemaker, a role she performed with unparalleled dedication and love. Her home was filled with the aroma of her cooking and the evidence of her many hobbies.
Her interests were a reflection of her vibrant spirit. Felicia had a passion for painting, often capturing the beauty of nature and the essence of her dreams on canvas. She was an avid reader, finding solace and adventure within the pages of books. Cooking was another joy in her life, and she delighted in preparing meals that brought her family together around the table. Felicia’s love for cleaning was an extension of her nurturing nature, ensuring her home was a place of comfort and peace for her loved ones.
Felicia loved the Bible. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life’s challenges and triumphs.
Those who knew Felicia will remember her as a loving, friendly, and creative soul. Her laughter was infectious, her smile a source of light, and her generosity knew no bounds. She had the rare ability to make each person feel seen and valued, and her legacy of love will continue to resonate through the lives of those she touched.
Felicia’s life was a testament to the beauty that can be found in simplicity and devotion to family. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on in the hearts of her children and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
