Phyllis Jean Perkins

In Loving Memory of Phyllis Jean Perkins who was born June 13, 1940 and passed from this life on August 21, 2024 at Harrison Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. She was the only daughter of Ell Kendall Sr and Pearlene Kendall. She was preceded in death by three brothers Lester Kendall, James Kendall and Paul Kendall, sister-in-law Maxine Kendall and daughter Tammy Nadine Perkins and a granddaughter Amelia Gerber. She is survived by two sons Anthony (Tony) Perkins (Millie), Timothy Ray Perkins, three grandchildren Kenny Early, Jason Early and Misty (Michael) Sims, ten great grand kids, several great-great grand kids, and several nieces and nephews.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to the nurses and staff of Harrison Memorial Hospital for the care and tenderness they showed for our mother in the final hours of her life.
I would like to thank our neighbors, Cathy and John Miller, their son Jonathon and daughter Katrina for making my mothers life over the past couple of years a lot more bearable for her and me. Saying thank you doesn’t seem enough!
To the people of the Carlisle Senior Citizens Center who helped when no one else would and to the ladies who came to help her dress and get a shower. Angie, Kristy, Lacey, and Makenzie thank you so much! I can never repay their kindness.
And, Ken Baker who helped with answers about Medicaid processes and never charged me for consultations.
