Margaret Louise Paul Snapp

Margaret Louise Paul Snapp, known fondly to friends and family as Margaret, a lifelong resident of Paris, Kentucky, passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on October 31, 1961, to the late Bobby and Dora Belle Hollon Paul, Margaret’s life was a tapestry of commitments to her loved ones and her community.
Margaret’s journey began in Paris, KY, where she also attended and graduated from Bourbon County High School. She would later find a second family among her colleagues at Giovanni’s of Paris, where she dedicated many years of service. The connections she made there only added to the richness of relationships she cherished throughout her life.
Above everything, Margaret was a beloved wife to Tony Lee Snapp and a revered mother to Bridgette (Jeremy Johnson) Clem and Bobby Clem. Her role as a grandmother was equally cherished, her love and wisdom reaching six grandchildren: Elijah Johnson, Travis Clem, Laney Clem, Jacie Ratliff, Austin Snapp, and Aurora Snapp. She filled their lives with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories. Margaret was a sister to Wayne (Joanna) Paul, Diana (Melissa) Konte, and Billy Paul, who, alongside her dear mother-in-law Linda Snapp, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, will hold her memory close to their hearts. Margaret’s life was touched by loss, including her parents, stepson Travis Snapp, her granddaughter Macie Snapp, and her father-in-law, Larry Snapp, all of whom preceded her in death.
Those who knew Margaret can attest to her loving nature, her thoughtful gestures, and her friendly smile that could light up any room. A testament to her character, her interests reflected her love for life and the joy of simple pleasures. She relished the thrill of playing the Lottery, found peace in fishing, and the time spent with her grandchildren and family was the cornerstone of her happiness.
Margaret’s passing leaves behind a legacy of love. She embodied the qualities of a life well-lived and well-loved, touching the lives of everyone she met with her kind-heartedness and generosity of spirit. Her warm presence will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her. Margaret’s story is not one of an end, but a beautiful reminder of the enduring power of love and family, a narrative that will continue to live on through her loved ones and the many lives she impacted.
