Hoover Gross

Hoover Gross, 89, widower of Sarah Gross, passed away on Saturday May 30th, 2020 at the Windsor Care Center, Mt. Sterling, KY.

A native of Irvine, KY he was the son of the late Vernon Gross and Dorsie Townsend Gross. He was a member of the Old Union Christian Church and attended the True Life –Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Earl and April Gross of Paris; two daughters and son-in-laws, Wanda and Mark Day of Paris, Tammy and Anthony Miracle of Mt. Sterling and a son-in-law, Daryl Linville of Paris; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Judy Robinson and Sandy Linville and son-in-laws, Mike Curtis and Manzell Robinson..

A private graveside service will be conducted at 3:00PM Wednesday June 3rd, 2020 at the Paris cemetery by Rev. John Kohr.

A private visitation will be from 1:00PM – 2:15 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Earl Gross, Andrew Miracle, Evan Gross, Lane Linville, Zachary Gross, Micheal Curtis, Jason Curtis, and Clint Linville. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Caswell, Scott Gross, Tyler Fister, Seth Fister, Noah Fister, Elizabeth Miracle Centers, Tiffany Bezeau, Jimmy Miracle and the nurses and staff of the Windsor Care Center and all great grandchildren.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Jude or UK children Hospital.
