Wilburn Clay Dale
Wilburn Clay Dale, widower of Janice Sue McKenzie Dale, departed this life on Monday, July 20, 2020, at his home with his family by his side, having attained the age of 85 years. He was born in Montgomery County on June 1, 1935, the son of the late Woodson Clay and Ethel Dale, attended Little Rock School, was a retired supervisor, having worked at N. H. Stone, Arrowhead Construction, and Apex Construction. He was a farmer for many years and a member of Little Rock Christian Church. In addition to his wife Janice, and his parents, Wilburn was preceded in death by siblings, Louise, Irene, Ruth, Edna, Phil, Cathy, and Alene.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Bell, Teresa (Jimmy) McCarty; a son, Owen Scott “Scotty” (Margaret) Perry; four grandchildren, Bram Bell, Rhonda Bishop, Owen Perry, Justin Perry; and three great grandchildren, Isabella Bell, Molly Bishop, and Maddie Bishop. Also surviving is a special niece, Melissa Burris; three great nieces, Briana Burris, Kailyn Burris, Abigail Burris; and a special sister-in-law, Linda Steele.
The funeral service for Wilburn Clay Dale will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Peyton’s Lick Cemetery with casket bearers being Joel Schoolar, Terry Crouch, Ronnie Johnson, Rex Rawlings, John Thomas Crouch, and Tom Burden. Honorary bearers are Buddy Dawson, Randy Cook, Randy Russell, Charles Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Donnie Johnson, and Dawn Crouch.
