Donald Ray Johnson

Donald Ray Johnson, 69, husband of Diana McCarty Johnson for 49 years, died Saturday December 19, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family.
He was born in LaGrange, KY to the late Charles David and Rebecca Grinnell Johnson. Donald was a retired employee of the Bluegrass Army Depot and L3.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Paris, KY.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Leslie (Neil) Stamper, Chad Johnson and Jessica (Bobby Lee) Greenhill; ten grandchildren, Taylor Currans, Kelsey Walters, Cassie Reynolds, Hope Johnson, Aiden Johnson, Trevor Greenhill, Kirsten Greenhill, Brynlee Greenhill and Keegan Greenhill; nine great grandchildren, Hunter Boggs, Aleyah Currans, Xander Currans, Gannon Sorrell, Asher Walters, Axton Adams, Ren Nolan, Avery Moon, Thomas Saunders and several nieces, nephews and cousins
In addition to his mother and father, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Trenton Blaze Greenhill and a sister Charlotte Belt.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Chuck Perry.  Burial will be in the North Middletown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cody Boggs, Rusty Coburn, Trevor Greenhill, Aiden Johnson, Bobby Lee Greenhill, Jeff McCarty, Jim McCarty and Neil Stamper.
Honorary pallbearers will be Stone Cooper, Larry Ishmael, Bob Walters, Mike Boone and Billy Reed.
