Eddie Calvin “Buddy” Roe

Eddie Calvin “Buddy” Roe, 85, widower of JoAnn Newman Roe, died Sunday, April 10, 2022, at his home in Ruddles Mills, KY.
A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Eddie Lee and Mildred Henson Roe. He was a lifelong farmer, avid fisherman, tractor and motorcycle collector, a great handyman, and a member of the AGR Fraternity. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and attended the University of Kentucky.
He is survived by three sons, Eddie G. (Kim) Roe, Sam C. (Emily) Roe, and Andy (Shayla) Roe; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Anthony) Owens, Sarah (Kyle) Sturgeon, Sam T. (Lindsey) Roe, Tyler Roe (Kelsey Randolph), Landon Roe (Blake Shephard), Tanner Roe (Crystan Ellington) and J.P. Roe (Hannah Faulconer); eight great-grandchildren, Remi Roe, Lane Roe, Mattie Ruth Sturgeon, Jovie Cate Owens, Maryn Charlotte Roe, Rhett Robinson, Graylin Adams, and Ryder Roe; two sisters, Ada (Brooks) Pitman and Patsy (David) Powell; brother in law and sister in law, Si (Judy) Cleaver and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Edie Claire Owens; two brothers, Jimmy Roe and Mike Roe; three sisters, Brenda Sherrow, Linda Horsely, and Mary Myers.
Services will be at a later date.
