George William “Pete” Wyatt, IV

George William “Pete” Wyatt, IV, 79 widower of the late Jeanette Frost Wyatt, died April 13, 2022 at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY.
He was born in Middlesboro, KY to the late George William Wyatt, III and the late Jean Glocester Wyatt. Pete graduated from Bourbon County High School and attended the University of Kentucky for 2 years. He was a member of the Ruddles Mills Christian Church and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and UK fan.
Pete is survived by one daughter, Lily Huckleby Slaughter (Mitchell Kearns); one grandson, William Casey (Nea) Terry; cousins, Johnny (Betty Hewitt) Wyatt, Billy Wyatt; nephew, David (Cathy) Towels.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Jean Anne; one brother, Henry Wyatt and a dear friend, Patricia Jensen Nessen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday April 15, 2022 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. John McGuire. Burial is in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday April 14, 2022 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Casey Terry, Mitchell Kearns, Johnny Wyatt, Billy Wyatt, David Towles, George Kiser, Jr. and Brian Hilander.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bourbon County High School Class of 1959; Betty Hewitt Wyatt, George Kiser, Sr., Jolynn Burkhardt, Jazlynn Kiser and Dr. Murray West.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
